May 21, 2014  Day 6

Psalms 127: 2-5 "Children are an heritage unto the Lord...Happy is the man (mother) that hath his quiver full of them..."
I am blessed to be the mother of 6 wonderful people.  What is so amazing is that they act like they like me.  I know that I was not the best mom ever---I yelled too much, disciplined too hard sometimes, was not always consistent in the things I expected, was not as focused on them as sometimes I should have been, etc, etc...
Today 5 out of 6 are grown and away from our home, three are married---very well may I add, one is away at college and one is on a mission.  It seems like they are spread to the four corners of the Earth.  We just have one left at home.
For my birthday they all combined their thoughts of things they had learned from me--their mother--and made me a book.  "50 THINGS WE LEARNED FROM MOM"
It made me cry to read all the things they had to say.  I love them all so much and yes, they make me very HAPPY !!
